Actor Will Smith has been spotted in a new movie Aladdin wearing a costume made with the Ghanaian Kente cloth. A costume designed by Michael Wilkinson who was in charge of wardrobe and design includes the popular Ghanaian cloth called Kente.
Just about two weeks ago the Ghana The Ghana National Folklore Board initiated moves to sue Marvel Studios, producers of “Black Panther” for using the country’s ‘Kente’ designs in some of the costumes it used in the movie without permission and it seems they have More work to do because the GhAnaian Kente cloth is becoming a World Cloth.

The kente which is a popular cloth among the people of Ghana. It is a brightly colored cloth consisting of separate stripes sewn together.
